We remember Steve Glenn
Raphael Mecham, Elder Ken Abney, Site Director and Steve. Steve presented a seer stone replica to the site.
We sadly say goodbye for a time to our dear, dear friend and one-of-a-kind man, Steve Glenn
Steve was released from this earthly sojourn when he passed away while being tenderly cared for by his eternal and loving companion, Pat on November 25th, 2019. It’s so amazing of the freedom he must certainly be enjoying having been freed from his physical limitations!
He will be tremendously missed by every one of us who had the privilege of meeting and working with him. There will never be another Steve.
Given his nature of deflecting any complementary words, we've had to wait until this time to publicly honor him. Guess we'll have to face his displeasure in the hereafter by doing so, but now he is in a position to be told "Well done, thou good and faithful servant" by the one who really matters.
We celebrate his accomplishment of passing this mortal test and rejoice in what we firmly believe will be his eternal reward for his quiet, selfless, consecrated work along with his dear companion Pat. Never have I known a group of consecrated souls of which Steve was an important member. So many important historic sites, important publications, works of art and artifacts have been preserved by him, Pat, Raphael and Shari Meacham. We also include Paul and Ann Painter in their help with the historic Joseph Knight Sr. home.
Steve, we'll miss your rich experiences, testimony and sweet tears that overflowed every time you spoke of our Savior and Joseph Smith. Bless you dear Pat, as you continue on. Know that we love and cherish you.
